Both platforms offer solutions for identity and access management for end customers (B2C), Business customers (B2B) and employees (Workforce) as applications. At the beginning of 2021 Auth0 was bought by Okta. However, both platforms are independent of one another further developed. Auth0 has been running as an independent business unit at Okta since then. Both platforms are offered exclusively as SaaS. The on-premise operation is therefore excluded. However, there is the possibility of a private cloud variant. Both platforms have a wide range of existing connectors, so many standard applications can be easily and directly connected.
